Jolyon GC Stevenson joined the Royal Navy as a Submariner in 2013. After 10 years of service, he left the armed forces and went into truck driving. In 2024 alongside his drivng role, he completed a level 4 diploma in proofreading and editing. He had started writing several books during his days under the waves but never finished any of them until early 2024. His quest to finish his incomplete novels continues and the first of his completed books ‘The Bear of Branston Cave’ is now finally ready. It was written for his daughter Evalynn and inspired by her love of animals. Not long after that came Animals of The Tongass - Bryan The Grizzly Bear, a children's picture book featuring Bryan the main character from The Bear of Branston Cave.
Joe has also recently written the short Novella horror story 0309AM which is gaining positive reviews amongst the Amazon KDP community. His inspiration comes from authors who he has followed and read a lot of books from, the likes of Stephen King, Tess Gerritsen, James Patterson and Karin Slaughter. He is currently writing a full horror novel which will be released soon.
